Background and setting
Legislative changes in the UK in the early 2000's allowed pharmacists with additional training to prescribe, thus improving access to medicines for patients. This required pharmacists to acquire additional skills in diagnosis and clinical assessment. A UK evaluation in 2010 recommended that education institutions should pay.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
