  Forecasting the in vivo performance of drug products is useful during the development of new drugs and, also, for the development of generic pharmaceutical products. It is typically attempted by using in vitro approaches but success rates may be vary with the extent at which the limiting factor(s) to absorption is(are) adequately modelled.
