    Background: The use of methylphenidate (MP) to enhance processing speed on patients with traumatic brain injury has been viewed as an adequate pharmacotherapy. However, no sufficient and validated systematic reviews support its use in patients with brain injury to promote overall cognitive function, including attention and memory.
