Caraway reduce feeding, body fat and improves insulin resistance in wistar rats

• Abstract:

  Male Wistar were given Caraway extract (400mg/ kg-1,day-1) or Sibuteramin (3mg/kg-1,day-1)or deionized water for 25 days.
  
  Drugs were decrease food intake through out the treatment period in both Caraway group (p<0.001) and Sibuteramine group (P<0.001). Final body weight was 10% lower in Caraway group (P<0.005) and 8% lower in sibuteramine (p<0.05)..
