Background
In the last decade, high caries prophylactic efficacy of ammonium hexafluorosilicates, including salts with substituted biologically active ammonium cations, has been demonstrated.Methods
The novel octenidine hexafluorosilicate (OHFS), whose organic cation exhibits antibacterial activity, was synthesized, evaluated for his caries..
