  Background

  Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2(VEGFR-2)plays a crucial role in cancer angiogenesis.Interruption of the VEGF signalling pathway by which angiogenesis becomes promulgated,results in inadequate nourishment of metastatic disease.Design of targeted VEGFR-2 inhibitors is a prevalent approach to cancer therapy.(1)
