  Background

  Hypercholesterolemia is a factor of cardiovascular risk factor that is present since childhood. Its prevalence is very high. The universal screenings are impracticable due to its massiveness. The strong association, found in a work by the author of cholesterol in parents with their children, makes it an excellent search criterion.
