Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness, safety, and associated patient outcomes of a simplified, nurse-directed insulin nomogram designed to achieve intensive blood glucose control (target range 80â€'150 mg/dl) in critically ill patients.
Methods:
Design: Prospective study with a retrospective control group.
