  Background

   Resveratrol is a polyphenol and phytoalexin and activities of resveratrol is very good. However, it has the poor water solubility and bioavailability. Thus, nano- and micro-encapsulation techniques have been used to increase the water solubility, bioavailability and photostability of trans-resveratrol against light-induced degradation .
