    A Medication Standing Order (MSO) allows non-medical practitioners to administer scheduled medicines for specific criteria without a prescription.

    MSOs are utilised for two main reasons; to assist early appropriate management of time critical treatments when a medical practitioner is not available; and to support timely treatment of low
