Precision medicine involves the use of biological and clinical characteristics of an individual to guide treatment decisions for an individual including the optimal choice of the medicine, the optimal dose, and the optimal duration of treatment. By progressively individualising treatment decisions, the aim is to improve the therapeutic outcomes.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
