    Insulin remains the most effective drug for treatment of diabetes. Nevertheless, clinical studies have shown that a significant percentage of patients fail to attain lasting glycemic control. Reasons for this include patients' noncompliance with an injectable drug. Non-invasive administration is therefore expected for better therapeutic outcome...
