The pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of carbamazepine (CBZ) vary widely among patients withepilepsy.
For 145 epileptic patients treated with CBZ as monotherapy and 100 healthy control, five SNPs in candidate genes ABCB1, EPHX1, and SCN1A were analyzed by genotyped using Real Time PCR was run using SNP Specific Predesigned Taqman Probes.
