Biopharmaceutics Classification System(BCS) based biowaiver(BW) studies are acceptable for determining bioequvalance(BE) of drugs belonging to BCS class I and some class III Drug regulatory authority(DRA) of Sri Lanka(SL) currently does not use BW criteria in generic drug registration.
