The WHO Pandemic Agreement is being discussed by the World Health Organization Intergovernmental Negotiating Body this week. FIP, as part of the World Health Professions Alliance (WHPA), is signatory to a joint statement on Article 6 (preparedness, readiness and resilience) and Article 7 (health and care workforce) of the draft agreement. Among the interventions submitted by the WHPA, is that development of rehabilitation and post-pandemic health systems should include health and care workforce recovery strategies.
