Paracetamol is often prescribed with a maximum dose of 4g in 24 hours. Recent evidence suggests that >3g should not be prescribed if certain clinical risk factors or enzyme-inducing drugs are present.
An audit of inpatients (>65 years) in St.James[simplequote]s hospital, under the MedEl, service examined whether paracetamol.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
