Background
Paracetamol is often prescribed with a maximum dose of 4g in 24 hours. Recent evidence suggests that >3g should not be prescribed if certain clinical risk factors or enzyme-inducing drugs are present.
Aim
An audit of inpatients (>65 years) in St.James[simplequote]s hospital, under the MedEl, service examined whether paracetamol.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
