I. Adults with cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury and other disabilities have a life expectancy nearing that of non-disabled. The progression of disability overlaps both normal aging and chronic diseases. Pharmacotherapy of chronic disease is a common thread that runs through the care of adults with disabilities.
