Silymarin, a natural lipotropic agent of low bioavailability from oral products, is prepared in a buccal liposomal delivery system. Silymarin liposomes were prepared using lecithin/cholesterol mixtures. Additives were explored in a full 2(3) factorial experimental design regarding drug entrapment efficiency. Additives used to optimize liposomal.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
