In a previous study(1), a modified QESD technique was applied successfully to improve the poor flowability, compressibility and dissolution properties of ibuprofen (class II drug). Different polymers (PVP, HPMC, PEG 4000) and/or surfactants (Tween 80 and Myrj 53)were used to obtain spheres of optimum size (300-600 Âµm) and improved dissolution..
