FIP brought together global experts at the FIP Global Vaccination Summit 2026 to explore how pharmacy-based vaccination can support prevention and management of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Insights are shared today in a new FIP insight report.
The summit highlighted the economic and public health value of expanding pharmacist-led vaccination services, alongside discussions on regulatory frameworks, vaccine equity, digital integration, education, and vaccine confidence. Regional case studies from countries including Belgium, Canada, India, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, and the UAE showcased successful models of pharmacy vaccination services.
Participants emphasised stronger collaboration, data sharing, and policy support to integrate vaccination into broader primary healthcare and NCD management strategies worldwide.
