How pharmacists worldwide are strengthening health literacy and empowering patients is explored in a new FIP insight report published today.

The report draws on evidence from an international survey and in-depth interviews with 22 FIP member organisations across 21 countries.

Findings highlight innovative strategies implemented by pharmacists to improve public understanding of health, medicines and disease prevention. The report also identifies enablers and barriers to pharmacist-led initiatives, providing recommendations to scale up impact globally.
