Dr Bahijja Raimi-Abraham, associate professor in pharmaceutics at Kings College London, UK, was announced by FIP as the new chair of FIPWiSE today. FIPWiSE is an initiative to champion and enable women in pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacy education to achieve their fullest potential, and to attract female students and young professionals into these fields. “I am truly honoured and excited to have been selected as the incoming FIPWiSE Chair. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Professor Claire Thompson for her outstanding dedication and contributions as the outgoing FIPWiSE Chair.
