Discussions on enabling people-centred personalised care of pain in pharmacy are published by FIP today. The federation gathered global experts at an international roundtable in Seville, Spain, last September. Topics included the global pain index, how people act on their pain and how to improve their experiences with healthcare professionals, challenges and opportunities for pharmacies to manage chronic pain conditions, and how patient profiles can be used to better understand patients and their personalised care needs.
