Carlos Lacava, FIP vice president, has been appointed as the coordinator of Uruguay’s national programme of access to medicinal and therapeutic cannabis by the country’s Ministry of Public Health this week. He will be using his medicines expertise to assure that patients can access medicines with cannabis and/or cannabinoids as active principles.
