Working in trust and solidarity is the theme of our latest annual report, published today. The report presents the wide variety of our activities during 2020, including supporting the profession through the COVID-19 pandemic. 

“COVID-19 has emphasised the power of sharing and working together in unity. I believe that pharmacy will emerge from this pandemic bigger and better, but we must think ahead and complement the positive recognition we have received with evidence, and cement our actions as ‘One pharmacy’ and ‘One FIP’,” FIP president Dominique Jordan writes in his foreword. Despite the global health emergency, achievements as One FIP included the launch of the FIP Development Goals to support the transformation of the entire pharmacy profession, progress with FIP’s Global Pharmaceutical Observatory, which will provide a window on the work and impact of the global pharmaceutical community, our work with UNESCO, marking 10 years of collaboration to address educational needs in Africa, and our FIP Virtual programme of events, which provided a new platform to connect our profession in an era of lockdowns and travel restrictions.
