FIP’s annual report for 2016, entitled “Putting people first”, is now available. “Attention to people — patients, pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, pharmaceutical educators and other health care professionals — and the health of our communities is at the core of FIP. In 21^st century society, we must explore new ways to conceive health care,” says FIP President Carmen Peña. 

The report records the numerous activities and achievements of FIP’s officers, staff and members throughout 2016. “But whatever our actions, whether they were discussions with health ministers, hosting meetings or issuing guidance — to name but a few — people were at the heart of them,” Dr Peña says.
