A landmark event is taking place in Nanjing, China, this week: the Global Conference on Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Education.

46 countries have congregated in China to witness the launch of key documents that will guide transformation of our workforce, and to vote on professional statements for pharmacy education.

The world is recognising that health care professionals are the backbone of any effective and resilient health care system, says FIP President Carmen Peña.  Dr Peña added that FIP wishes to ensure that, throughout the world, there is a sufficient and competent workforce to meet current and future needs.
