  • Abstract:

    Background The number of hearing impaired people in Japan is approximately 340,000, which is about 0.1% of the population in Japan. It is estimated that there are about 180,000 hospitals in Japan. On the other hand, there are only a few facilities where medical staffs are working who can communicate using sign languages.
