Perilla is a common culinary herb having unique flavor and is also used as medicinal herb in Asia. It harbors several oil types which contain monoterpenes as principals, and quite a few of them have antibacterial and antitumor activities. Results of studies on elucidating biosynthesis of oil components can make it possible to regulate.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
