- Abstract:
Background
: PIN1 is a member of the evolutionarily conserved peptidyl-prolyl isomerase (PPIase) family of proteins. Following phosphorylation, Pin1 catalyzed prolyl-isomerization induces conformational changes and thereby regulates the function of a number of phosphorylated proteins that play an important role during oncogenesis.
