In order to improve the efficiency and reduce the cost of drug discovery and development, various new technologies have been produced and applied. Bioinformatics, cheminformatics, rational drug design, combinational chemistry, chemical libraries, high-throughput screening and in silico ADMET prediction are technologies employed in this context.
