Two billion people around the world (almost 1 out of 3 persons) have been infected with the hepatitis B virus. Many people recover and get rid of the virus, but 400 million people have been unable to get rid of and remain 'chronic carriers' of the virus. Hepatitis B is common in Asia, Southeast Asia, India, parts of Africa, South America, Eastern.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
