Drug shortages are one of the most important issues facing pharmacists in hospitals in certain parts of the world. In the US, the number of drug shortages has achieved unprecedented levels. The causes of these shortages are multifactorial and short term solutions are not viable. This presentation will discuss a number of factors that must be..
