People's perception of medicines and medication usage is affected strongly by their cosmology of health and illness. The decision to use medicines is strongly influenced by cultural beliefs, religious and traditional practices as well as previous experiences of the patient or his close associates in managing the condition, especially the outcomes.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
