The shortage of pharmaceutical staff arises from insufficient training opportunities; unhelpful practices; and economic factors leading to brain-drain, workforce deterioration and imbalance in manpower distribution. Better workforce planning is the option available for increasing numbers. This means defining and training pharmaceutical staff..
