In the United States, certain regulations require the presence of a pharmacist on the multidisciplinary transplant team. The United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), the organization that oversees organ procurement and allocation, suggests that transplant programs identify one or more pharmacists as designated members of the multidisciplinary..
