Furosemide is a loop diuretic used to treat excessive fluid accumulation and swelling (edema) of the body caused by heart failure, cirrhosis, chronic kidney failure, and nephrotic syndrome. Like other loop diuretics, furosemide acts by inhibiting the Na-K-2Cl symporter in the thick ascending limb of the loop of Henle [1, 2]. The aim of this study..
