Microbial Contamination of pharmaceuticals is a big problem. Aflatoxins are produced by certain mould species that grow on poorly stored oral preparations. Many aflatoxins are genotoxic and damage vital organs leading to hepato- and neurotoxicity.
The goal of this study is to evaluate the microbial quality of 96 different brands of oral.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
