BackgroundAdipocytokines are known to play roles in insulin resistance via affecting adiponectin, resistin, and TNF. Chlorella, one type of unicellular algae, has been shown to produce hypoglycemic effects in diabetic animals.
MethodsType II Diabetic rats were induced by the i.p. injection of nicotinamide and STZ. Vehicle and glipzide-treated STZ.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
