BackgroundThe growth in antibiotic resistance in bacteria creates an ever more significant challenge to global health. One important driver of resistance is the formation of biofilms, whereby cells may become 100-1000-fold more resistant to antibiotics as compared to free floating planktonic bacteria.
Keywords: bacterial resistance, biofilm,.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
