PBPK modeling is primarily used to support drug-drug interaction work with the area of pediatrics being second with regards to FDA submissions (1). Pediatric PBPK models are primarily used to estimate pediatric doses for safety + PK trials that may or may not include efficacy. Advanced modeling techniques for planning pediatric trials are expected.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
