    Because of the difficulty in measuring directly the unbound drug concentration in the brain
    (Cu, brain) in humans, the concentration in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) (CCSF) has been used as a surrogate for Cu, brain. However, the factors responsible for a difference in the unbound concentration in the brain and CSF remain obscure. A
