BackgroundsLutein is a naturally occurring carotenoid and fat-soluble xanthophyll for the reduced risk of age-related macular degeneration disease. However, absolutely low water solubility of lutein hinders its intestinal absorption and results in very low bioavailability in human body.
AimsThis study aimed to develop a novel highly soluble solid.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
