  • Abstract:

Smoking is a leading cause of preventable death. Pharmacists' interventions have shown to be effective in promoting cessation; however, Costa Rican pharmacists do not have access to formal training or protocols to provide at least brief 3-5 minute interventions for smoking cessation.

We conducted 2-hours focus groups in rural and urban areas.
