Rhizomes of Zingiber officinale commonly known as ginger is most commonly used drug as well as spice. It is used in traditional system of medicine as an antiulcer and antioxidant. Fifty percent methanol Ext. of spent ginger was found to contain maximum number of phytoconstituents and selected for marker isolation. Many phytoconstituents isolated..
