The WHO estimates that 10-30% of pharmaceuticals worldwide are poor quality. Unfortunately, existing tools are too cumbersome, expensive or qualitative and hence ill-suited for point-of-care medicine testing
We developed a luminescent assay to quantify Artesunate (ATS) in monotherapies. Further, we field-tested PharmaChk in Ghana using ATS samples.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
