Polypharmacy is correlated with poor outcomes in older adults, including an increase in premature mortality. However these observed associations may not be independent of co-morbidity.
We included all non-randomised controlled trials and observational studies where the stated intention or effect of the intervention was to reduce polypharmacy and..
