Space is a precious commodity in a hospital. Growth of services and demands of regulatory requirements do not always result in obtaining more space. A large academic medical center pharmacy outgrew its ability to function properly within 5 years of relocating to a new area. No new space was available so redesign was needed to be compliant with..
