Cardiovascular (CV) disease is the second most common cause of mortality in Taiwan. Although guidelines recommend multiple cardioprotective medications to prevent or reduce post-myocardial infarction (MI) CV complications, but the use of secondary prevention pharmacotherapy after MI remains suboptimal.
